I have an Experience Builder app that has a mobile version. In the mobile view, one tab has map views, the other tab has links.
On my Android work phone running Chrome, the map tools for layers and basemap blink out of existence as soon as I open the app. On my personal phone they do not. Both phones are set for the default screen resolution size.
When I change the resolution on my work phone the tools appear and are usable. I feel that the map tools should adjust their position in the map to be usable despite the screen resolution, and especially should be configured to be visible in the default screen resolution for Chrome on Android.
The reason is as below:
The Map widget automatically hides tools depending on the widget's height to make the widget more responsive to medium and small screen devices. For example, if a Map widget's height is smaller than 465 pixels, the Measure and Locate tools are hidden on small and medium screens even if they are turned on in the widget's settings. As the widget's height decreases, more tools are hidden. The Fullscreen, Search, Zoom, Scale bar, and Compass tools are the last to disappear.
We will consider how to improve this.
Thanks,
Ke
I am also having this issue, and it is a big problem. I have an experience builder app deployed for community facilities and footpaths, and now I am testing it on an android phone. Nearly all of my essential widgets have dissapeared on my phone, my first search on the issue led me to this thread. This really does need ESRI to provide a solution, as it substantially detracts from the promoted deployment of apps to mobile devices mantra. Please provide an update on when this will be addressed.
Thank you I will give that a try.
