I am working for the city. Does anyone know if any widgets can create the dropdown to select different layer and the user can select feature name and zoom to location of the feature.

Looking for best solution to create the dropdown above and link the two dropdowns together. to make it work.

thanks.

Assuming you are not looking for a Custom Widget, I would combine the Accordion Widget and a set of List Widgets.

  1. Add an Accordion Widget.
  2. Place a List Widget inside it. Connect it to the data of one of your layers.
  3. In the Action Tab, set up a Record Selection Changes > Map > Zoom To Action.
  4. Duplicate your List Widget. Change the connected data to a different layer.
  5. Repeat for any other layers.

Thank you very much for your instant response and suggestions. but we are using enterprise portal11.3, so we don't have Accordion Widget, do you have other recommendations?

Without an Accordion, the Section Widget probably makes the most sense for this layout.

What Template you use is up to you and your data. Use Remove Default Widgets From Template to start from scratch.

Thank you, Jeffrey, could you please give me an example of how to configure from a feature layer to select feature name steps by using list widget? When you are free. I am so new to this and really frustrated to make it work. This will be my first EB.

Here's a guide for setting up a List Widget.
