List widget interaction with layer widget

Hi,

I use the list widget in interaction with the map, so the list will only show those features that are visible in the map extent. If the connected layer to the list widget is switched off, the list is still shown the features that are in the extent of the map. 

Is it possible to only list the feature when the layer is set to 'visible'?

So the only thing I can think of that might work is to open the Data Panel and use this View for Empty Selection option. I don't really think it will work, but it's worth a shot.
