How to link map points and table to scatter chart in Arcgis Experience

Hello,

I'm trying to create my first app with ArcGIS Experience, and I've watched several YouTube videos, but I still can't figure out how to display a scatter plot based on an attribute from a feature layer in my map.

Currently, it is only displaying a single point and not the entire series.

My table looks like this:

I want to create a scatter plot that displays all rows with the selected ID in the map, using the columns Depth and Cn. Additionally, it would be helpful to know how to achieve the same result directly from the table.

I assume I need to filter the elements by the selected ID in the table and then link the filtered data to the chart. How can I do this?

Right now, the chart only shows one element:

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @JV_ ,

Do you happen to use the "Selected feature" view for the chart datasource?
Can you share a screenshot for the chart configure?

Thanks,
Wei

Hello @WeiYing1

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I'm using the 'selected feature' because I want to select a point on the map and then display a scatter plot by filtering the table to show only the elements with the selected 'ID' from the map. Below is my chart configuration.

Hi @JV_ ,
Thanks for sharing the details.

With "Selected feature" view as chart input, when you are selecting a point on the map, it also filters the chart input data, so you will only see on point on scatter plot, which is as expected.

If I am understanding correctly, you just want to filter Table by "ID" of the selected feature, but do not want to filter the scatter plot? If so, you can use a separate data view create from the original data source (which remains all data), and use that as input of the chart. Then you will set message action in Map to trigger selection to filter Table.
