All,

In experience builder on arc GIS online is there any way to flag a category based on a value from a field?

I am creating a map that determines how many customs are effected by an event. part of that map need to include how many  samples that need to be taken based on the number people effected. I tried asking the question to the AI chatbot  and got a response to use either some HTTP or JavaScript (I am totally unfamiliar with both) to create a if then statement to use in either the chat or embed widget. is this at all feasible or was the AI confused? if this is feasible can you give an example and detailed explanation of the syntax(I am only familiar with python)? also what programming language it is in?

Also if there is another or easer  way to do this pleas let me know.

Thank you in advance

Laura

Hi @Laura_m_Conner,

You could use the Select widget, set the ‘Attribute selection’, and then configure the SQL expression to display the categories.
Does this meet your needs?

Not directly I was  going to put it in a text box but I can just put it in a chart.
