Have select widget automatically toggled "on"

I have combined the new Select Widget with the Nearme widget so that I can have a user select an AOI that already exists in the map to use as the AOI instead of drawing one. It does work however the user has to toggle the select tool on first, then select a feature. Is there a way to have it on when the app loads?

@KatherineHackett Unfortunately, the OOTB widget will not provide this feature for now - given we also support multiple Select widgets connecting to the same Map. To achieve this, you might need to go through the dev edition route.
