Group Layer view

Hi ExB community,

I need to get a huge feature class (all cadastral parcels of Germany) from an EGDB into our Enterprise Portal and subsequently into my Experience. Since the feature class is so large, I have thought about splitting it into smaller parts for better performance. For example, one dataset per county. Nevertheless, I would like to manage that the users of the Experience do not see 403 parcel layers in the Layer Widget but just one.

Is there any solution for creating groups but dont show the full content of it in the layer widget?
If thats not possible, is there a way to make the layer widget only show layers in the current canvas extend?

It sounds like the "Customize layers" inside the Map Layers widget could help with your case?
