With every monthly updated ESRI does, they also break many business operational applications we have up and running. Not covered in patch notes, just stops working. Specifically anything related to Survey123 and Experience Builder. It is beyond annoying that things work one day then there is an update that breaks everything anytime AGOL updates.

All of our Experience Builder Reporting Widgets broke 2 hours prior to the scheduled maintenance period.

Currently for me some pages of the the Survey123 website are inaccessible due to CORS errors which typically reflect ArcGIS.com performance issues.

We are seeing some performance issues on various arcgis.com sites. We are investigating the issue.

" are inaccessible due to CORS errors which typically reflect ArcGIS.com performance issues."

@ChristopherCounsell could you clarify what you mean by this?

CORS is a Cross-Origin Resource Sharing Error, its a configuration issue, when a web page tried to request a different domain than the one it originated from, and the server does not permit it.

Usually this a sign of security settings working correctly, but some endpoint not being defined in the configuration to be allowed in this way.  In what way is CORS related to 'Performance issues'? (Or Performance Issues on ArcGIS.com?)

Also, as most probably discovered the ArcGIS Online update last week impacted a lot of things all at once. (I have multiple clients who expressed concerns about what was going on)

During ESRI performance issues you often will see cors error messages
between ArcGIS.com sites in the browser console. This is in an org with no
trusted servers configured and in basic ArcGIS Online setup (hosted feature
layers, all ArcGIS.com etc).

Likewise for hosted feature service performance issues you can see 503
errors from cloud front in the network traffic.

As always, anyone reading this, check the ArcGIS status website and contact
support if you are experiencing issues. Even when they're known so you can
get attached to the performance defect.

Thanks for this post and update, ArcGIS Online (AGOL) very slow to open and feature services with intermittent connection errors. I hope the update is the issue since services were fine yesterday on hosted feature layers.  Thanks
