Is anyone else experiencing a problem with the zoom to selected record on the list widget? On the EB app when a record is selected the map is zooming to it, but only on the first time. If a different record is selected the map stays at the location of the first record selected and does not move. Even if the "Clear selection" button is pressed the map will not zoom to a new selection

Hi @City_of_Edgewater__Fl_GIS_Div_,

I couldn't reproduce this issue. Could you provide a sample app? Thanks.

Thanks,

Ke

All our Experience apps are currently shared within the organization only currently, but this is what happens:

A user selects a record and the map zooms to the corresponding polygon, but if they select a different record the map stays at the same extent as the previous record unless the clear selection and the map returns to the default extent and even if the select a new record at that point the map does not zoom to it

Well it's a Bug:

BUG-000183406 has been associated with your account.

Description: Widgets in ArcGIS Online Experience Builder do not zoom to a feature after the first selection and the error message "Uncaught (in promise) Error: null" is displayed in the console.

To track updates, log into my.esri.com and navigate to the Bugs and Enhancements section under Support.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can improve ArcGIS software for all customers.

There is a solution to the problem with the list widget not zooming to a selected record after the first record.

Solution supplied by Florin - Esri Support Services:

Try the following steps:

  1. Export the hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online to a file geodatabase.
  2. Download the exported file geodatabase.
  3. Upload the file geodatabase to ArcGIS Online and use it to publish a new hosted feature layer (without using ArcGIS Pro).

When the feature service that giving us problems was put through these procedures and then added to a Experience Builder Launchpad application the List widget worked as it is expected to.
