I am rebuilding my municipality's applications in Experience Builder as well as adding additional functionality where possible. Before, we had multiple filters set up in the Web AppBuilder Filter widget.
I am attempting to replicate those filters however it is forcing me to choose either an And or Or operator for these multiple filters. (see second screenshot) If Filter Number 2 is not populated with anything, Filter Number 1 will not do anything. They are filtering different specificities, so I do not want any operator for this. I want a user to be able to use these filters individually with no relationship between the two of them unless they are both activated.
Before, the And operator was implied by having multiple filters turned on using the "Toggle Switch" activation style, now even if I have the second filter turned off using that activation style, the first filter will not do any... well... filtering. It is expecting input in filter 2 as well before filtering the data.

I just figured out what is happening. There is an issue with symbology so the filter was not working in appearance alone. Now that I have adjusted symbology it is a bit more blatant. I will also set up an action so it zooms to the filtered feature.
This is working normally now.
This feels more like a real glitch. I have many filters set to "AND" and nothing like you described has happened. The toggle controls its use for us, and they only interact if multiple are turned on.
