Hello,
I'm having an issue. I have an EB built that includes some bookmarks to zoom to particular areas. I've also defaulted the view to only have about half of the layers turned on. The user needs those layers but does not need them turned on all the time. Recently (in the past few months?), using the bookmarks also automatically turns ALL of the layers on. This is frustrating and annoying. I noticed that there is an option for "Ignore layer visibility". I have tried both modes (checked & unchecked) and both options result in all layers being turned on when I use the bookmark. Is this a known problem? How can I make it so that clicking on a bookmark DOES NOT alter the layers I currently have turned on.
Thanks!
Thanks! I'm using version 11.3 in Portal and I don't have that check box.
I closed the browser , reopened, and created new bookmarks, and it included the newly added layers.

This option was added in the last ArcGIS Online update (June 2024). It is not currently available for any addition of ArcGIS Enterprise.
Correct. This new feature will realize in Enterprise 11.5.
I have 2 maps and several bookmarks in a scrolling page. I tried turning on Ignore layer visibility but it wasn't working as expected. What did work was: Change the bookmark view, opening layer list, turn off layers, save. Ignore layer visibility is unchecked. I think the bookmark web map settings should respect the settings of the web map.
"Ignore layer visibility" option means when you save new bookmark, it will not remember the layer visibility changes you make. With this option on, in runtime, if you turn on/off some layer visibilities in Map, and then clicking any of the bookmarks, it will zoom to the location, but the map layer visibility will not be affected (it will still be what you set to the web map).
