Hi,

I have an Experience Builder App created on ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 with the current padches.

The function that is mainly used is creating and editing polygons. I use the standard Edit widget for this.

Technically it works fine (although batch editing would be great for attributes, but I was told this will be available in a later version). However, my users complain a lot about teh orange rectangular frame that is often around the selected polygons. The problem ist, that when users click into the rectangle they move the polygons frequently.

Is there any way to get rid of this rectangular, or to even block a "move-edit", which my users anyway never need. A polygon we create is never moved.

Thanks a lot!

I've have the same annoyance with the orange box too. Initially thought it came up as was using an admin account, however normal data editor users get it too. Really should be an option to turn this feature off while being in Interact with Map Widget mode.

Hi @GeoFUNKE,

If users only need to edit the attributes of a feature, you can select 'Attribute only' when configuring the Edit widget:

attributeonly.png

You can then add any editable layers within your map as a new editable source. This will highlight the feature you are editing, but you will not be able to move or resize the feature. Therefore, there will be no orange box around it.

Hope this helps!
