Edit the label in the filter widget

I am using the horizontal arrangement and button activation style for the filter widget.  I don't see any options for editing the text (font, color, etc) of the individual labels.  Or the background of the individual "buttons".  Is this not available for the filter widget or am I missing something?

To change label

The background color for filter buttons cannot be customized at this time, unfortunately. It only shows light or dark depending on the theme choices.

Thank you for the reply.  That is unfortunate.  Can the text be customized beyond choosing what you want to call it?

For the Filter widget, the 'Label' input shown in the screenshot is the designated place to change labels.

Besides, you can change the data source layer label on the left-side Data panel as well, which will be reflected on the filter items using that layer.
