EB Query Widget not displaying results from all selections.

I have an EB application that uses the Select and Query Widgets to select all features in a parcel layer based on the selected features in town boundary layer.  If I only select one town the query widget works fine and shows the parcels that intersect the selected town.  
If I select more then one town, the query widget only shows the parcels from the first town selected.

Here I have a panel with the Select and Query widgets.  The user will select a town from the map and then click apply to show all the parcels that intersect the town.

The query widget it set to query the parcel layer and filter by the selected features of the town layer:

After selecting one town and clicking Apply you get the results:

Problem I am seeing is that if I select more then one town, the results only show the parcels from the first town selected:

Is this a limitation of the query widget or am I missing some configuration?
