I'm building an ExB app in ArcGIS Online with a Basemap Gallery widget. I have added basemaps to the widget by URL. The basemaps are image services (not cached) from a standalone ArcGIS Server. When clicking on the map, the imagery is highlighted in the selection color and a pop-up is automatically generated for the image tile. Is there a way to disable pop-ups on these basemaps?
Hi @BlakeTerhune,
Please track this bug.
BUG-000171703 The imagery layer used as a basemap in ArcGIS Experience Builder shows pop-ups even though pop-ups are disabled in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer
Thanks,
Ke
Thank you, @Ke_Xu. However, I think my issue falls just outside the scope of BUG-000171703. I never have the opportunity to disable pop-ups because the basemap is from URL in the basemap gallery widget (not a web map). Should I open a support case for this?
OK, please create a support ticket for this. Thanks.
After contacting Esri support on this issue with the Basemap Gallery widget, two new bugs were logged:
BUG-000178565: "In ArcGIS Experience Builder, adding an image service to the Basemap Gallery widget by URL automatically turns on pop-ups with no way to turn them off."
BUG-000178585: "In ArcGIS Experience Builder, an image service (with pop-ups disabled) added to the basemap and the default basemap visibility set to hidden, the image service displays the pop-up."
