The time zone setting that were selected in the Map Properties of the web map are not holding when the web map is viewed through the Experience Builder app.  Has anyone else experienced this and/or have a work around for this? Web Map on Left; EB on RightWeb Map on Left; EB on Right

@Mmwilliams

The timezone setting is a new feature added in Map Viewer in the past AGOL release. Currently, in ExB, only the special 'unknown' services will be honored. We will take a look at this.

This is still an issue at 11.3.  Will it be fixed soon?

@BrianJohnston4 The timezone settings in Experience Builder have been supported since the 2024 Mar AGO release (portal since v11.3):

If you choose the data time zone, and the data are layers from MV, then they will use the MV-defined TZ; if layers are added through REST directly, they will use the layer/service TZ. However, you need to choose that option manually since the device (local time zone) will be the default timezone.

Let me know if there are still some issues in the suggested configurations. Thanks

Hi Tong,

I am running into this issue. Dont mean to hijack the thread, but I figure, I set the time zone

It shows the correct time in the webmap

But Experience Builder Table widget still shows the wrong time

The data is collected via field maps to an sde layer which we make the map service for. We then register the map service to AGOL to use in the webmap.

Am I doing something wrong along those steps?

OK, sorry, the settings needed to be applied at time of publishing the map service in SDE. The time zone configuration was missing.

Thanks.

No worries! Yes, if you choose the data time zone while the data is missing this info, the behavior would be unexpected. Let me know if you run into other issues.

Thanks,

Tonghui
