We have been waiting for ESRI to solve this issue for a long time. Still, unfortunately, in EXB developer edition 1.17, ESRI mentioned that this issue has been solved: "You can enter a message to display when no data is selected or the chart is otherwise not displaying data." We tried to fill it out as requested, but unfortunately, this is not working.

Kindly advise, are there any additional steps to take after filling in the custom message?

It seems like this might be a bug, as I’m experiencing the same issue even after following the instructions in EXB Developer Edition 1.17. Despite the note from Esri stating that it's been resolved, the message for when no data is selected or available still doesn’t display as expected.

Hi thanks for your feedback!
The no data message can be customized and it displays in a warning bar.
What way of displaying are you expecting? And in which case it does not work? Can you provide more details?

@Wei_Ying thank you for your support.

I am expecting the no data message to change to the following message when no data is available.

Unless you are indicating another place that will be affected by this message, "The no data message can be customized, and it displays in a warning bar". Can you elaborate or share a sample where it should be displayed?

Yes this feature is available in latest ArcGIS Online. Are you working on AGOL or Enterprise?

I am using the exb developer edition. I tried this option unfortunately the message didn't appear in the chart. The default message is still appearing there as shown in the provided screenshot.

I am afraid if there's a bug in this tool and it is not distinguished.

In which case are you expecting the custom message, like no data created when chart using other output or no data selected for selected view.

@Wei_Ying  I appreciate your support.

I'm looking to display a custom message in charts when no data is available due to a filter. I have multiple charts that rely on filtered data, and in some cases, the filter results in no data to visualize. In such scenarios, I'd like to show a meaningful message (instead of the default in the blank white background) to inform users appropriately.

If you or anyone has implemented this or has a screenshot/example showing how and where the custom "No Data" message is displayed, it would be greatly appreciated.
