Cannot add certain widgets from the pending list

Hi everyone,

Not the first time that this has happenned to me and I am wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just a bug. From time to time, certain widgets won't drop in my experience when dragged from the pending list. I can clearly drag the widget and hover it above my experience page. The widget will then indicate that it can be snapped to the page content but when I drop the widget, it goes straight back to the pending list.

Any idea?

Not sure if we're supposed to be able to stream videos (I can't download it due to work policies), but I know exactly what you're talking about. This has happened to me when I've customized device views and have ended up putting widgets inside different layout widgets, and Experience Builder can't abide that in certain scenarios.

Without being able to see exactly what you're dealing with, I recommend going to each device view and taking the widgets out of whatever container they're in. You'll know you've gotten everything when you're able to pull the problematic widget out of the pending list and onto the relevant device view. Then, start rebuilding, essentially.

The map widget that I was trying to add contained a fixed window. I guess that since fixed windows cannot be used through multiple app views, I could not add the map from the desktop view to the mobile view. I'm gessing the same goes for sections (if a section contains a not sharable widget - sidebar, fixed window, column, etc.). That's a pain of a behaviour if you ask me.
