Accordian Widget not accepting widgets

I am working with an application that I just moved to 1.19, and an accordion widget that is functioning with 5 tools inside works fine, but I can't add a new widget to the accordion.

I was going to add a new accordion widget for a basic and advanced property Report, but a new accordion button does not accept the property report widget or any other widget.

The accordian widget is created in my widget controler and when it opens up it has a singular button with "widget Label" listed but no ability to add content to it.

I fear this is going to be something really silly I overlooked, but can not seem to get the accordion in an add widget mode.

If I remember you have to add a widget container then the widget inside of that.

Appreciate the quick reply (sorry for your loss to the Bears). I have it inside a widget container, and it was taking new widgets last week. I migrated to 1.19 and have been moving applications over. I can not remember if this was originally built in 1.18 or 1.19...but either way, I can not get a new accordion to accept widgets.

Check the top bar and make sure your layout is unlocked.

yeah... I have checked that, made sure Live view was not on. and tried mobile and tablet custom toggle off and on. I can't edit my existing accordion widget or create a new one.

I have a sister app for internal users that is working fine and am able to add new widgets to that application.

Strange.

Is it just the Accordion that's broken? Have you tried making other edits or additions?

Yes, just the Accordion. I gave up grouping widgets in an accordion just to get some new functionality finalized. When I open the existing Accordion, I can open the existing widgets inside the accordion and edit/ change them, but can not add new tools. When I create a new accordion, it opens with the ability to select the button, but a content tab to the left of the configuration column does not open; it treats the "New Widget" but as a graphic to expanded or shaped but no connection to data or insert widgets.

Resolved - After upgrading multiple websites and the Accordian widget utilized in the second round of release notes, the answer is that if the widget controller is set to Fixed instead of Float, the Accordian widget will not accept new widgets. One needs to toggle the widget controller to "float" while editing.

That would be helpful in the notes
