Survey widget and actions from other widgets

Contact and survey are two of my favourite widgets. Fully enabled (URL parameters) both will be amazing. In our case, our clients have preferred the survey to the contact widget.
The action of populating a response with a field of a feature is great, but it involves asking the user to select the feature on a map. In applications where the center is a map this makes a lot of sense, but in applications where this is not the case, user has probably already selected the feature in some other way. That way user therefore has to select it again, which is redundant and non-intuitive for some kind of users even with a help message.
That is why I think it would be a good idea to populate the field in a similar way, but using actions from other widgets, a list for example.
Another suggestion related to the previous one is that survey answer could be populates with the URL (similar to contact widget) so that the recipient can open the application as the user sees it.
