Our current corporate GIS viewer allows our end users to draw features and save them in the application for later use (only the user can see their saved redline features). We are working to eventually retire the current system and use EB to make our new corporate viewer. I saw a post relating to this for the WebApp Builder (see below) but I don't see a post suggesting this for Experience Builder.
I think it would be valuable to allow users of the application built in EB to draw a line, polygon, point, and then save those features for use in a later session. Most of our end users do not use ArcGIS and only a corporate viewer so saving as a shapefile would not help their case. It would also be nice if it was possible to export an existing feature to a redline feature (i.e. select a parcel and be able to export it/save as a redline).
Yes WABD has an enhanced draw widget where you can export your drawn graphics to json and import the json as required in any App that has the edraw widget. All text, points, lines, polygons, etc graphics are editable as well. EXB really needs to include this function as its a draw card for non GIS users. Our users love this widget and therefore love using our WAB Apps. Hope this helps the cause.
It's a bit of a hack, but you can use the Print widget to export a map only .png image. (Because EB still doesn't have a screenshot widget either)
Gives you a map image with the drawing layers on top - but not any kind of spatial feature layer.
