Print Widget - Enable Add Legend as a Default Setting
Please add "Include Legend" as an Editable Setting in the Print Widget. Most people I talk to would like the legend included by default.
This is currently available on a per-template level. Am I misunderstanding?
@BlakeMorrison Thanks for the reply. This option only appears to provide the user the option to enable the legend from the advanced menu in the widget, not enable it by default. Does it work for you? I also have a custom print GP service, not the default ESRI. Th elegend should be enabled by default IMO.
Hi @JwHayes , If you check the "Include legend" option under "Set defaults", the legend will be included in the print output by default. The "Legend" option under "Select Editable Settings" is used to make the legend option visible to the end user.
Additionally, we plan to make an enhancement in the upcoming release (February 2024) to have the "Include legend" option checked by default.
