I’ve been wanting to suggest adding functionality to the NearMe widget that allowed for multiple proximity circles. Perhaps have a parameter for number of rings and another parameter for the distance uniform distance between rings.
Since they all have the same radius, then the area is only dependent on the distance between any two circles. So you need to maximize the sum of distances. Though this does not account for overlapping circles, but I wonder if that even matters, ie. would handling overlapping circles change the solution? idk.
