You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose. Likewise, with the button widget, you can link to another page, you can link to another block, but you can't link to a block on another page. It would be useful, though -- button linking, that is. I had placed a contact info block on an About page, and was hoping to link a 'Contact' button to that block from another page. It looks like I'll have to create a separate Contact page or move that block to the top.

When you link to a specific block on another page, there will be complications like page animation timing or widget loading causing the anchored place to shift instantly, also depending on the local network speed - which is quite a different case from redirecting to another page (the top of the page).

This enhancement might not be considered in the near term, but we will keep watching the feedback.

I would really benefit from this. Experience builder is great! In order to keep using it we need to have some increased functionality.

@CarmellaBurdi1  I'm in the same place. I started messing around with it after hearing at conference after conference that it's 'the future' and 'most advanced' web app builder but find in practice that it's very much unfinished and lacking even basic functionality at times.

@wayfaringrob @TonghuiMing  I did try to do some creative url parameters using the block IDs but it does still does not work when I'm jumping from another page.

If anyone finds a work around - I would love to hear it!

My organization would really benefit from this as well.

I'm struggling with this issue in terms of in-text linking. We reference a specific section on a separate page, but any sort of attempt to link (whether through URLs or Views) just takes the user to the top of the new page.

I wonder if re-building the pages within Section widgets would work? I don't know if linking through menus would still work, but if all the content is on the same Section, it all should link together.
