As a frequent user of Experience Builder, I’ve noticed that the legend’s interactivity is quite limited. In one of my projects, I represented attendance using proportional circles, but with more than 1,000 data points, the visualization becomes difficult to interpret.
I am developing an application for users who are not familiar with GIS, so I would like a feature similar to the ArcGIS Instant App “Interactive Legend” template. Ideally, users could click on a category in the legend (for example, a specific attendance level) and filter the map view to show only that category, making the experience more intuitive and improving understanding.
To be more precise, I would like users to be able to choose which categories are displayed directly from the legend group. While it is possible to achieve this using the Filter widget, I would like the filtering to be more instinctive—allowing users to select categories directly from the legend rather than having to use a separate filter.
