Google Earth Pro will not be available for download by June 2027. Esri should make an Experience Builder template that mimics how Google Earth Pro is used by countless offices to capture that market and help get data into AGOL instead of KMZs.
1. A basic Experience Builder layout. Layers Table of Contents on the left. The web map takes up the rest of the screen.
2. Include the Oriented Imagery widget that points to the Mapillary service in Living Atlas. Enable a filter that only shows 360 degree photos. The static one-directional photos are not useful and will irritate users that are used to Google's panoramic photos. Let the Oriented Imagery Viewer be expandable to full screen.
3. Include a search widget that the GIS staff can point to our layers. That will enable functionality that Google Earth Pro never had.
4. Include an Add Data widget that allows office staff to add hosted feature services that are not included in the base web map by default.
5. Include a print widget so that non-GIS office staff can print out their map view with organizational layout and branding.
GIS staff would be able to create a web map and push all of their data that was displayed as KMZ into hosted feature services. Use that map with the Mapillary image service to replace Google Earth Pro.
