Experience Builder Draw widget: display measurements while drawing and display radius for circles

In the Draw widget it is possible to enable measurement. Unfortunately measurement values show only after a graphic is drawn. It would be very usefull it the values were shown while drawing as well. It would be a great help to draw a line with a given length, a circle with a given radius... 

And measurements for circles should give the radius instead of circumference!

Yes I agree, the draw widget should also have the following - Lengths displayed between vertex points on lines and polygon so users can print maps with dimensions at there chosen unit. Export/Import drawn features for future re use and better editing tools.

I agree with you. Currently, users are using the Measure widget to calculate the distance they need, then using the Draw widget to draw a line over the measurement in order to keep track of it. If another measurement is needed, they use the Measure widget again and draw another line on top of it. The challenge is that users would prefer to see all of their measurements at once, but the Draw widget doesn’t show the distance dynamically as you draw, unlike the Measure widget. It would be great if we could have a feature that allows users to see every measurement in real-time.

This looks to be supported now in the February 2025 AGOL EB release, which should be in the DE 1.17 release. It is under the Draw Settings configuration of the widget.

@Brian_McLeer You're right, this is now implemented!

Unfortunately the widget still lacks ability to export, import and share sketches (Implement export, import and sharing of sketches on the Experience Builder Draw widget).

@Thomas1, the import/export sketches (JSON files) has been one of the most requested features to implement that are in WAB but not in EB for my users. Hopefully this can be added in the next release of EB. The development team is making good strides towards the functionality with this release of EB for the Draw widget, so hopefully they keep up the momentum.

Implemented in the ArcGIS Online February 2025 release, Developer Edition 1.17 planned for March 19, 2025, and ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 in May 2025.

@Jianxia  I'd love this for the select widget as well. My users need to select within a certain radius but cannot gauge the size of the circle as they draw. Will this be added to the Select Widget? Thanks
