Draw widget - Add option to draw text

Please add an option to draw text with the draw widget in the Experience Builder!

In the draw widget in the WAB you can add text elements to the map. I'd like to use this for my maps used in the Experience Builder as well.

I'm curious as to why/how this hasn't been included with (or even before) the Draw widget. Does anyone have an answer or an ETA on when it will be added to ExB?

Yes. I agree. Why hasn't this been added? Users draw symbols and text on our maps. Seems like an oversight that still hasn't been implemented.

I completely agree, having the ability to caption your drawing seems fundamental. We are all eager to know the status of this implementation. Drawing Widget Text box

Please add "TEXT" to the Draw Tool. Markups without a label are often not helpful. This should be an easy fix.

Agreed, this is heavily needed for us. All our clients use Text markups in the Draw widget and we are feeling the lack.

My work around is creating a point feature with a 'display text' set as the label field. Then the users can edit the layer to create the feature, input the text they want displayed, but the symbology will be transparent so only the text label appears.
