Cursor edit icon when hovering over text

Hi,

Upon hovering over a text field in a List Widget in Experience Builder (after publishing, as if I'm the end viewer) the cursor icon changes to a text editing icon, as if the text can be edited, but it can't. This could present confusion for the end user.

Thank you!

Hi @bsklafloh

What is this "text editing icon" referring to? If it is the same as below, it means that you can select text and copy it without necessarily being able to edit. This is controlled by the browser (you can hover this paragraph in this current post, and it is the same behavior).

Or, maybe you're talking about something else? A screenshot to illustrate might be more helpful. Thanks.

@bsklafloh, is the confusion stemming from users thinking they can't click on the list to make it do something (assuming that's how the list is set up)? E.g. (you may have to click on the .gif below to see the cursor movement):

This probably wouldn't pass accessibility testing if that's a concern for you, but something I've used for internal stuff is just putting an invisible button that's the full size of the list item (make sure to "bring to front").

Edit: Actually, I just realized you don't need to do the workaround above anymore, since you can access attributes directly from the button widget.
