ArcGIS Online Experience Builder - Select Tool

Is there a way to add to an existing selection using the Select widget in Experience Builder?

When I use the Select widget, I can’t add to the current selection — holding Shift doesn’t work. However, if I enable selection directly from the map’s own selection tools (instead of the widget), adding to the selection works as expected.

Is this a known limitation of the Select widget? Ideally, we’d like to use the Select widget only, without having to enable both the map selection tools and the widget controller.
