Hello Esri,

We recently created a standardization for our organization's Applications. This is ideal to provide our end users with a consistent user experience and quicker creation time for power users.

We'd like to propose that the Experience Builder team consider creating templates for these apps that can be shared throughout the organization. In the spirit of equivalency across ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS StoryMaps already does this with templates in their application.

These serve as great launch points for users to have some of the 'housekeeping' settings already completed.

This would be great enhancement to EB, please let me know if you'd like any examples!

Thank you,

Amanda Huber

Unless I'm misunderstanding, you can already create templates in Experience Builder. With an experience open in edit mode, click the three dots menu in the upper right and there will be an option to generate a template. The template will then be available on the Templates tab on the Experience Builder "home" page:

Once you use the template in a new experience, there's no connection (as far as I know) back to the template, so if you change something in the template, it's not going to change your experience created from that template. But, I'm not sure it works that way either with Story Maps templates.
