When adding shapefiles or KML files using the Add Data widget, all layers come in as the same symbology (orange fill polygons, orange points, orange lines for me at least).

It would be great if we were able to allow users to change this symbology, or at least allow app creators the ability to change the default.

And at a minimum for KML's can the default be the symbology from the KML file itself (this is how it worked in WAB)?

I would like to second this request.  The default orange fill on the polygon imports especially is a problem if you want to see what's underneath.

This widget does not match the WebAppBuilder functionality in that that version does actually somewhat randomize the layer color upon adding to the layer list.   Please duplicate that functionality, provide ability to modify color in the layer list, or provide some guidance on recreating?  Is it in the queue as an enhancement? Timeline?  Thanks!

Please match the WebApp Builder functionality, @esri!  As a federal agency whose standard color is yellow, orange is the worst color you could have picked to display data added into web maps.  Users really like to have the symbology from Google Earth come over as they had displayed it.
