The Add-Data widget is great but has a couple glaring issues. The biggest issue is that when data layer is added to the map, the map will auto-zoom to the extent. I don't think this should happen. Most of the time folks want to add that layer to see how it overlays their current extent. They don't want to zoom to a map view of the whole Earth. Also, there is no indication to the user that a shapefile must be zipped. Could there be a message to make this clear?
