Question:
- If ArcGIS Online provisions users with "utility services" to perform certain tasks; and
- Utility Services consume credits in some instances; and
- Some ArcGIS Experience Builder widgets can connect to utility services in order to function; then
- WHICH ONES WILL CONSUME OUR CREDITS?
Answer:
The following widgets can consume credits when used through ArcGIS Experience Builder (ArcGIS Online only)
Feature Report:
- Generating a report with the Feature Report widget consumes a minimum of 0.5 credits.
- Generating a report from multiple records consumes 0.5 credits per record.
- Any related records for a record can be included in a report at no extra cost.
- Summary sections do not incur credit charges beyond the cost of other reports printed at the same time.
- To test your report without consuming credits, you can click Preview sample report. This generates a watermarked .pdf file for up to 20 features at a time at no credit cost.
Directions:
- The 'routing' utility service consumes credits
- Must be a signed-in ArcGIS Online user to use the tool
Business Analyst:
- Configuring this widget with the 'geoenrichment' service consumes credits
- Must be a signed-in ArcGIS Online user to use the tool
Analysis:
- This widget's built-in spatial analysis tools consume credits. Every tool has an Estimate credits button, which you can use to see how many credits an analysis will consume before you run it, located above the Run and Back buttons. The button indicates if an analysis does not consume credits.
- Must be a signed-in ArcGIS Online user to use the tool
Add Data (subscriber content):
- ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World includes three levels of content: publicly available content, subscriber content, and premium content. Subscriber content, such as Landsat 8 imagery, requires an organizational subscription account to access. Premium content is subscriber content that consumes credits, such as demographic and lifestyle layers.
- The widget prompts the user to sign in if they try to add subscriber content
