Happy New Year! Here are features planned for 2024. In addition to migrating WAB widgets, we are woking on the Express mode option - a simplified app building experience like Web AppBuilder. We plan to deliver it in the fourth quarter of the year. The planned release dates here are for Experience Builder in ArcGIS Online. New features will be picked up by ArcGIS Enterprise releases later. Keep in mind these features are subject to change please.

Besides the issue with the batch attribute functionality, I was in contact with my ESRI account rep that the EB team is working on a feature for customizing visible scales. I would like to know when that feature will be available. Further, as a high recommendation from many users, do you think that retiring webapp builder should be postponed for at least another year? It seems like that are many issues that still need to be addressed, and I don't think that experience builder is still in parity with webapp builder. Maybe @Jianxia can provide additional details on the latest changes to the roadmap.

@jiangjian has the integration of Google Analytics with AGOL been completed? Many thanks!

@WheatonAdmin , the ability to customizing visible scales is now targeting Q1 2025 Online release. Also, Thank you for sharing your concern on WAB retirement timeline.

@AshleyTarver3 ,  Experience Builder in ArcGIS Online added Google Analytics in June. See the blog.

@Jianxia thank you! Is there documentation on how to use Google Analytics within Experience Builder for Search Engine Optimization purposes? Specifically, we are interested in tagging certain keywords to push our app to be listed as a top Google search result when someone googles those keywords

@AshleyTarver3 , Currently Google Analytics in Experience Builder only supports for the number of views for each page.

Hi @Jianxia thank you for updating the info in regards to experience builder. I have a question, do you think we will get a similar draw tool functionality as web app builder anytime soon? The ability to draw line arrow was pretty nice. Currently, it’s in a point format where the arrow can’t be rotated. The ability to export out the drawn feature to different format is also very helpful. Currently, we can only print our drawn features.

The ability to select and delete individual drawings is a very good addition, thank you for your team’s hard work!! Will wait and see the cool updates!
Best 🙂

Hi @Jianxia ,

For the URL parameters that support zooming to selected features, does this support a search widget configured with a locator service? ... or, does the search widget have to be configured to search a feature layer?

If a locator service is NOT supported, are there plans to support this?  We have several of our WAB apps where users make use of the "find?" URL parameter for zooming an app to a particular feature, and our search widget for those apps use locator services.

Thanks!

Hi @mpboyle

Not quite sure if this is answering what you're asking, but I have used url parameters to zoom & select the output of search widgets set using locator services in ExB. The parameters needed are listed here for the search widget. Then right after the search widget parameters in the URL, use the zoom to selection=true parameter.

I'm not 100% sure how the magicKey is determined so that I can populate dynamically. Best I've been able to do is save my experience, set the behavior I want and pull from the url. Maybe @Jianxia can provide more insight.

Here's an example for my county land records:

https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/45b07e0ad68148b6bb36d4b7e86d1026/#widget_32=search_status:%...

*One thing to note, I do have message actions set on our search output that take precedent and complete the actual selection of the feature of interest. I haven't figured out that portion of the URL parameter.

Hope this helps.

Hi @MollyWalkner_1,

The URL parameters page you reference is what I eventually found.

Below is an example URL using the minimal number of parameters to accomplish zooming the map to the searched feature.  The text in bold will need to be replaced with actual values.  The "widget_number" corresponds to a search widget.

https://...experience_url...#widget_number=search_status:%7B"searchText"%3A"search_string"%7D

Thanks!

Hi @Jianxia , when will it be possible to have the Toogle All Layers On/Off button in the Layer list like we had in WebAppBuilder?
