WFS fields not updated after republishing map service

Hi ESRI team,

We are publishing a map service with WFS capability on ArcGIS Server 10.6.1. When updating a featureclass and enabling additional fields to the same MXD layer, map service updates with added fields but WFS seems to fail to update. Is this a bug by any chance?

So was able to resolve this issue of ours by going back to the map document and disabling the assignment of unique IDs for the layers. The map document initially had this on and the layers were given different ID numbers compared to their ordering. After disabling this, we republished the map service and the WFS now are showing the exposed fields.
