Hi! I'm trying to publish a Publishing Feature layer with geometry type Polyline, and I'm encountering a problem.

The problem is when It does not matter which symbol I choose(arrow eg) it always just shows up a simple line in the layer renderer.

the server version is 10.71.

Hey @Guy_srb

When analyzing before publishing, does it show up with any warnings or errors? It may say the reason why it can/cannot add the symbology to the layers.

Looks something like this here:

I believe this is a problem we faced a long time ago. In ArcMap/Pro, we selected a line with an arrow showing directionality, but when we published it, it was just a solid line with no arrow.

For us, the arrow was visible in the map image layer, but not the feature layer. And for us, it was "good enough" to just use the image layer. To that could potentially be an option for you.

Also, after doing a quick search, I found this: https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/problem-the-flow-direction-arrow-symbol-from-a-map-ser...

Not sure if that will help though.
