I was just curious how everyone is handling notifying its users and/or project managers that there may be some downtown time in the published services that users/clients may notice?
obviously an email to all project managers would be a start in case they are contacted by clients, was just curious if someone else has come up with any other best practices on the matter and are willing to share with us all.

In web based application you can set downtime popup page while login on application page.
From ArcGIS server side i don't see any such type of tool or option to create notifications.
