Im trying to import a server site (.agssite file) from an old site to a new site. both sites have different service account passwords. The old site runs on windows server 2012 and the new site runs on windows server 2025. Both of these windows version have different password complexity policies and the service account in the old site was configured with a password complexity that does not pass the policy in the new site.
I've tried importing the agssite file in the new site but encountered no this error "Import site failed with the following error. Import operation cannot proceed due to a validation error. No write access to server directory in the incoming site configuration. Please ensure ArcGIS Server has write access to the following directories.."
I suspect it was due to the service account mismatch, in this case the password itself.
Hence i'm asking if there is a way we can modify the service account details in the .agssite file before importing to the new site?
