Make Map Widget selection highlight transparent?

Hi

Is there any way to make Map Widget selection highlight transparent? I am using List widget to select point features on the map. The highlight masks the symbology of the point feature, so I would like to make the highlight color transparent, the size to 0, or not highlighting the selection from the List widget at all. Is any of these configurations possible without using the Developer version?

I found a way to achieve this: duplicate the layer in Map Viewer so that one layer is specifically for List widget actions. Making this layer invisible will not impact List widget actions, and thus the map can zoom to selection without displaying highlight.
