Hi,

We have set up an ArcGIS Portal with high availabillity.

When we now have tested failover, we see that it is generated alot of db<nnnnnnnn> folders. This seems to be created each time it tries to switch between primary and secondary Portal server. When is it safe to delete these folders? After a day or month?

They store a snapshot of the data at the time the portal returned to the configuration as the standby portal. Ideally there'd be a configurable retention policy, which is something we can hopefully get to in the future. Since they likely out of date data, you can delete them whenever you see fit.

Thank you for the answer!

Then we for now have to set up a scheduled task to delete old folders/files.
