I have a question about federating a Portal with a standalone ArcGIS Server. This ArcGIS Server has been in use for a long time and has > 150 services that are nicely grouped into thematic folders.
After doing the federation, I ended up with a long list of ungrouped items in Portal. The only way to bring some structure into it, as far as I know, is manually recreating those ArcGIS Server folders in Portal and moving items into the corresponding Portal folder. I'm wondering now whether this can be automated in some way?
It would be nice if the ArcGIS Server folder structure would be preserved in Portal when doing a federation with a standalone ArcGIS Server
All ideas / thoughts are welcome
