I have a feature service published to portal 10.8.1 from a feature class within an oracle sde 10.6.1. This feature service is then used in a portal app. A handful of users will be editing the feature service within the app. Also, once in a while a GIS tech will be cleaning up the feature class from ArcMap.
Right now the sde feature class is not registered as versioned. Everything appears to be working fine. What is the best practice?
I did read this it appears like my use case does not require a versioned feature class.
