Feature edit through ArcGIS Server on ArcMap

I’m trying to reach my enterprise geodatabase and make edits on feature classes through ArcGIS server instead of direct database connection on ArcMap. However, seems like it’s not as easy as expected. So I’ve came up with some problems;

  1. “…ArcMap allows you to edit data from feature services by creating a local copy of data from a feature service. You can then make edits to the local copy in ArcMap and synchronize the edits back to the service…” 1 so what is the point of versioning if I have to create a replica every time for edit.
  2. It’s not possible to make any edits with the capabilities WFS and WFS-T on QGIS 2 (Geometry type is sdo. So that should't be a problem for QGIS)
  3. When feature access capability is enabled for map service admin and publishers cannot see the feature service but users can see and edit.

2 I don’t have data interoperability extension that’s why I try it on QGIS.

I'm not sure if WFS-T is supported by ArcServer - if someone else knows it would be nice to confirm the status.

This older thread indicates that as of 2015 it was still not supported for anything other than viewing:
