Hi!

I get issue when I edit text field it become error font after few second with ArcGIS Pro 3.7 and Enterprise 12

And if run Append to Feature Class in Geodatabase, font ok in picture 1

But when I run append to Feature Service with same data, Vietnamese Font get error in picture 2

Any one have solution for this issue? I think it related to ArcGIS Enterprise configuration

Thank you!

Hi Nguyen,

Here is what I know:  The Append Tool to a GDB changes the "physical" storage (on your machine or a server or some type of local server.)  If you use the Append Tool on a feature service, then it requires "web edits" such as ApplyEdits operation. In this Esri Community, I did see this one which may help: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/appending-data-to-a-feature-service-via-arcpy-or/... and I am sure you already looked at the Esri Pro stuff like this: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/3.4/tool-reference/data-management/append.htm   I wish I could be more helpful!

Thank you for your reply,

But my issue not only for Append tool, even I edit any Text field in Feature Service, It also become font error after few second. I think it related to ArcGIS Enterprise configuration for Font.

Gotcha.  I would check to be sure the correct font is installed in AGE.  Esri has documentation about it.  It presume it would indeed need to be installed on the AGE server.  Best of luck!

Hi @GISUser1619_Nguyen,

I hope you are well.

Could you please log a case with Esri Technical Support so this can be looked into in more detail?

Before reaching out, it would really help if you could check whether the issue can be reproduced directly within ArcGIS Enterprise, without involving ArcGIS Pro. If it does not occur there, we will likely need to focus the investigation on ArcGIS Pro instead.

Regards,

Glen
