Error 1722 when installing 10.4 Web Adaptor IIS Setup

3/4 way through installation if 10.4 Wed Adaptor IIS Setup the blue bar stops progressing and I receive the error "Error 1722.  There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.  A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.  Contact your support personnel or package vendor.  Action  APPHOST_ANONYMOUSAUTH, location: ...\appcmd set confit "DefaultWebSite/***002/apps/dashboard-win" -section:system.webserver/security/authentication/anonymousA..."

Just used this same installer days ago with no issue...

Anyone run into this or know why?

Hi David, I haven't been able to find any more information about this error.   I think the error is happening when the installer is restarting IIS, so it does seem to have to do with the IIS configuration.

Maybe you can try installing from the command line, like what was suggested in this post (long shot): IIS Web Adaptor Install Error
