Hi There,

I'm trying to have a feature layer that has edits completed on AGOL by an external party. Which are then sync to the Portal via Distributed Collaboration.

So that the feature service is automatically updated on the sever. I am currently trying two editing, but it can be one way (AGOL to Portal) if easier.

I published as a feature layer from server to the Portal and then shared it via a Distributed Collaboration with the Workspace on AGOL as:

  • - Copies;
  • Allow two-way sharing of feature service edits to eligible participants; &
  • - Send and Receive Content.

To view and edit the feature layer on AGOL. However, this method requires Enabling Replica Tracking.

When I do enable replica tracking, I get ERROR 001487: Failed to update the published service with the server-side data location. (I do not receive this error when I disable replica tracking).

We use ArcGIS Pro 2.9.6 & ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.

1) Does anyone know why this is occurring & how to fix it?

2) Or is there a better way to achieve AGOL Edits to sync to Portal?

Cheers

Ash
