We are currently in the process of going through a server migration and we have 1000's of mxd documents. I am looking for a python script that will help me mass update .mxd's layers so I don't have to do the "Repair Data Sources" for each document.
The mxd's are in multiple subfolders and all are connected to .sde versioned databases.
I would like to update all the mxd's sde connections to the same version and then correct the "Instance Name" for the layers.
Current Server Name: dal-gissql is changing to gissql.
