Hello GIS friends,

I have a Distributed Collaboration setup from ArcGIS Online to ArcGIS Enterprise. Until recently, the collaboration was working fine, and we were able to collect and edit data in ArcGIS Online and the data would successfully sync back to ArcGIS Enterprise enabling a great enterprise database while allowing us to do our work in ArcGIS Online. However, for some reasons now, the sync is failing. When I go to ArcGIS Portal Directory under Collaboration Workspace, Sync Status it says a few things:
1. Filed to sync to one or more participants
2. Completed sync. No available task details

When I dig further in it says, 'Cannot execute collaboration workspace sync with online participants with org id................: Could not reach peer portal item list.

Friends, please help me.

I am unfortunately dealing with a similar scenario with one of the teams I am working with. Logs are set to debug level on portal and server and the only helpful error message is that

  • Could not reach peer portal item list

There is another error message that overlapped within the same second but not sure if it's relevant or a red herring.

  • Invalid redirect_uri

These are both debug level log errors so you would have to have debug mode enabled. @AbiDhakal can you please check your portal logs and try to find nearby logs that show this "Invalid redirect_uri" message or anything else you can find?

Maybe we can solve this together!

@BrendanBladdickEsri - I have resolved my issue. 

What version of ArcGIS Enterprise do you have? If you upgraded your ArcGIS Enterprise from 11.3 to 11.4, but in your ArcGIS Online under Workspace if you see ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3 then we have similar problems.

Please click: Collaboration then Workspace. If you see 11.3 instead of 11.4 then we have similar problems, but if you see 11.4 then we have different issues.

@BrendanBladdickEsri - I do not see this, Invalid redirect_uri. I would like to solve this with you as well. Please let me know how else I can be of help.

Got a few questions for you 🙂

  1. Is the collaboration between Enterprise and Online, which one is the host?
  2. What is the version of Enterprise? - 11.4 right?
  3. What is the region of Online? (NAM/APAC/EU)
  4. How many items are shared to the workspace?
  5. Can the item be shared to a new workspace successfully?

@BrendanBladdickEsri  - I thought I had it resolved. I do not.

1. ArcGIS Online is the host.
2. ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4
3. NAM. We are in Alabama
4. One
5. When I create a new workspace in Online, I do not see that workspace come through in Enterprise.

Also, when I leave a workspace from Enterprise and subsequently delete the workspace from ArcGIS Online the workspace from the Enterprise does not get deleted. There is some disconnect.

I will appreciate your help in resolving this.
