Dashboards not showing thumbnails

Anyone else having issues with Dashboard in 10.9.1
Attachments are no longer showing up as thumbnails in the new Dashboard. They are only visible if you open it with Classic Dashboard.
I reported it as an issue on January 28 and did a consult with an ESRI technician who was able to reproduce it with their data and equipment on his own. They filed it as an official bug.
At the end of the day the answer from ESRI was, well this is the way it is now. I was told we would need to host our attachments (there are thousands of them) and that attachments can only be displayed as a List or in a Gallery.
